Notices. TyEWCASTLE ROAD DISTRICT. Ratepayers of the above district are hereby notified in terms of Section 17, Rating Act, 1882, that the Newcastle Board intend at a Meeting to be held on Monday, 30th July inst., to MAKE a RATE for the year ending March 31st, ISS4, of 11-16ths of a penny in the £ on all rateable property in the Newcastle Koad District, to be payable in one instalment on Ist day of September, 1883. The ratebook is open for inspection at the residence of the chairman. Also, a Special Annually Recurring Rate of l-16th of a penny in the £ on all rateable property in the above road district to meet an annual charge of £5 12s 6d, for such time as will be sufficient to pay four of £225 Government grant under Roads and Bridges Construction Act.
