The Cambridge District High School was opened yesterday morning at 10 o'clock by the head master, Mr Li. D. Stew ait, assisted by Mi Wilson, the newly appointed teacher tor the High School. There was an attendance of twenty-tlnee pupils out of twenty-four on the rull. Hie extent of the attendance is up to the present very satibtaotoi y, and to the indefatigable exertions of Mr Stewatt this sulcjss is mainly due, as he spared neither tune nor trouble in securing a good list of pupils.
