[Recei\cd June 27, 1 20 p.m ] Melbourne, Yesterday. Thk Government have not yet come to a final decision on the proposal of Mr Twopenny, that a Colonial Exhibition shonlil be held in London. It is considered improbable that the proposal will receive any active official support from the Government. Telegrams are to hand from Eaglehawk, reporting that a cage in one of the mines fell a distance of 640 feet, and two men at the bottom of the shaft were crushed to death in a most hoiriblc manner.
