A MKETivo- of the above board was held on Saturday afternoon last at Kirk wood's Hotel, Cambridge. Present : — Messrs \V. Hunt, G. E. Ellis, Brunskill and Non is.— lt was resolved that in future the monthly meetings of the board should be held on* the third Tuesday in each month, instead of on the third Saturday as heretofore, so as to fit in with the monthly meetinss of the Piako County Council. — With reference to the special rate struck Ly the board for the main road betw een Cambridge and Taotaoroa, a telegram was received from the UnderS':cretaiy for Public Works to the effect that the board had no power to make such rate, the authority to do so resting with the county council, who could not delegate their powers to the road board.
