The engine was stopped, and it was found that a man named J. Regan had been caught by the cow catcher and carried 200 yards. On being, taken to Riverton Hospital, Reg.ih's skull was found to be severely, lacerated ; his left arm broken in two places, and his back bruised, while he had also sustained ' concussion 1 of the brain. Regan was insensible when admitted, and continues so.
