INVERCARGILL, Last Night.
A barn and stables on the farm of Mr John Bairtl, at Centre Bush, was burned down on Saturday night. Three horses perished in the flames, and a large quantity of seed and harness was destroyed, the building was insured for £300, but tiiere Mag no policy on the contents. The loss is estimated at £600 above insurance. Theie is no clue as to the origin of the fire.
