LATEST AUCKLAND NEWS. [BY TELEGRAPH. — OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Col. Lyon to Command Auckland Volunteers.
Auckland, Last Niglit. Thk Defence Office has ordered Colonel Lyon to assume the command of the Auckland Militia and Volunteers until further orders. This averts the feelings of jealousy that were arising among Auckland volunteer officers.
