I, Edwin Hadfield, of Waiorongomai, in the Provincial District of Auckland, do hereby give notice that I desire to obtain, and will at the next Licensing Meeting, to Be holden at Te Aroha on the 2nd day of June, ] 883, apply for a certificate authorising the issue of a Publican's License for a house situate in Wairongomai, containing twelve rooms, exclusive of those required for the use of the family. vjrr AiPA county/ Ratepayers of Pukekura Riding, and of that part of Rangiaohia Riding recently included in the Pukekura Highway District, are hereby notified, in terms of section 12 " Roads and Bridges Construction Act, 1882," that the Waipa County Council have made an application to the Government for a loan of £300, for the purpose of constructing -that part of the Main Cambridge-Ohaupo Road commencing at Fleming's corner and extending 53 chains towards Ohaupo, within the Rangiaohia Riding, the estimated cost of which is £350. The ten yearly payments required to be made to Government will be £7 10s each, and the specual iate required to meet them will be \ of a penny onthe rateable value per annum. Plans and particulars may be inspected at the office of Mr T. G Sandes, Engineer to the Council, Hamilton. To decide whether the County shall or shall not borrow the £300 and execute works above mentioned, a POLL of the Ratepayers will be taken at the Schoolhouse, Pukerimu, on SATURDAY, June 2nd next, commencing at 9 a.m. and closing at 6 p. m.
