MASTERTON, Last Night.
A Scandinavian named Madson has been discovered near the head of the Waingawa close under the ranges, having his throat cut with a kuife and scythestone beside him. He was last seen on Sunday. He was unmarried, sober, and aged 24 years. The cause is said to be ill-health and depression.
