CHRISTCH URCH, Last Night.
At the R.M. Court Thos. Allen, 21 years of age, was sentenced to two month's imprisonment for vagrancy. He had been well off a year or two since. When arrested he was so filthy that he had to be " scrubbed down " with a longhandled broom, and his clothes burnt. He was ruined by gambling and drink: ing. ' l> A boy five years old broke bis arm falling from a horizontal bar at the borongh school, I/yttleton. ' ■
