RA IL WA Y REFORM. — UNIFORM RAILWAY FARES.-HOW THEY WILL PAY.
TO THE KDITOK. Sir, — In your advertising columns of Thursday will appear a notice, inviting the public to attend a meeting at Te Awamutu, to be held on Saturday next at 7 p.m. The present state of railway mutters and railway affairs appears to bo deplored by all. The question to be solved is— How to obtain an improved condition of n flairs in this respect ? It is a matter which will involve the material and rapid prosperity of the entire colony. In your issues of 13th January ond 3rd February last, Mr Samuel Vaile, of Auckland, penned two most valuable letters on the subject. As will be seen by advertisement Mr Vaile will be present at the meeting. I venture to assert that the earnest consideration of everybody should be given to this matter. — I am, &c, T. G. Te Awamutu, Bth May, ISB3.
