CAMBRIDGE AUTUMN RACES.
Sale of Privileges. Tub privileges of the above races were disposed of by Messrs Clark and Gane at their auction mart, O.itiibiidge, on Tuesday last. There was a large attendance of bidders from various parts of the district, and as will be seen fiom the following prices the bidding was spirited. The grand stand bar and dining 1 oom were knooked down to Mr Lewis (of Lewis and Simpson) at £32; the gates, Mr Lewis, at £73 ; good templars' booth, Mr WheeUn, at £7 10s ; the cards, Mr J. S. Bond, at £8 ; and the horse paddock, Mr A.Forrest, at £3 ss; total, £127 13s. With the exception of the grand stand bar and dining room, which realised £ii last year, the prices are considered very satisfactory.
