[BY TELEGRAPH — PRE-iS ASSOCIATION.] 1 Dunkdix, Tuesday. Puksaxt to notice of motion given some time ago by the Hon. R. Oliver, the High Schools Board of Go\ ernors to-day considered the/jiiestion of making the benefits of education at the High Schools available to a larger number ot the distiict school pupils than has hitherto been possible. The Board, after consideration, adopted the following resolution :—: — "That this Board will henceforth offer free education at the High Schools to all boys and girls who in the examination for the Edticatiou Boards here for scholarships make 50 per cent, of the total attainable marks."
