New Zealand oats, under bond, quiet, at 2s 3d to 2s 7d. A fall of stone occurred in the Ellenborough mine, at Eaglehawk, last night. Five men who were working at the time were buried in the dcbri.t. Two were found to have been crushed to death, but the other three were rescued, , though seriously injured. Mr R. Claike is dead. The trustees of the Melbourne Library have decided in favour of opening that institution on Sunday.
Adelaide, April 24. The South Australian agricultural returns for the past season show that the yield of wheat was 730,000 bushels below last yeir. The total yield has been 7,3."50,000 bushels of wheat, of which 3,6.">0,000 aie available for export. This is the smallest quantity during the past tweh c years.
