Vanity Omega Victona Bull's Eye Itewi Taipoun Stanley It will be seen from the above entries that the Cambridge Jockey Club have been successful in securing the most numerous entries which have yet been received for any race meeting in Waikato, and as the names will show some of the best blood in the colony has entered for the meeting*. This is a fact upon which the club are deserving of the warmest congratulation. The Cup, with nineteen entries, promises to be the greatest event of the kind which has ever been witnessed on a Waikato racecourse. The entries for the other events speak for themselves The only thing now wanting to make the meeting a successful one is fine weather, when we have little doubt the public of Waikato will not fail to recognise the efforts of the club in securing such excellent sport, and Auckland may be relied upon to furnish a large contingent to assist at the meeting.
