It was resolved that the clerk furnish a memo to the Mayor, who is proceeding to Auckland, showing the cost of telegrams sent to the Eelie\ ingOfticer in cases of relief required, in order that the Mayor might apply to Mr Graham for reimbuiscment. Cr Jones called for a return by the next sitting of the council, of the cost inclined in calling for tenders during the past year. This was all the business.
