' WAITOA MAIN ROAD. , „ Tenders, : , TENDERS, will be received by the Piako Couuty Council up to Saturday, the 24th inst., at 5.30 p.m.; for the' following contracts :—: — ' v No 1. Outfall drain from Waihou river near punt to end of formed road, and deepening side drains, some 200 chains, and outfall between Moffats and the sale yards. No. 2. Carting sand, &c, on to road from Waihou to rfver, say 2500 yards. No. 3. Building Wo bridges at Waiwhero and Piraunui, and raising the embankments to same. No. 4. Formation, grading, drains, 80 chains from Larkworthy's to Piraunui. No. 5. Building bridge at Waihekau, and cutting down hill 1000 yds., more or less, new wings to Waitoa bridge, and tilling. No. 6. Deepen drain from bush ,to Goulds boundary along main road, and cut a small drain, about 200 chains long, cut drains from Goulds upper boundary towards Waiharakeke, anlcl form road with the stuff, lay pipe's. No. 7- Ballast and sand on road about 4000 yards, Waitoa to Waihaiakeke. No. 8. Build bridge at Jonathan's swamp, and filling, deepen load drains past Mr Murray's, and put, in cul\eits. No. !). Cutting ,down western appioach to 'Pu>o Budge, form road from Piako to Morrinsville, build bridge in Morrinsville. No. 10. Clcaiing and draining road, Morrin&Mlle to tlie KocUs, fonniug load on Jenkins.' Flat, 30 chain-., and cutting at gully, on Jenkins'. I will be sit the Te Aroha end of the woik on Monday morning next, the 19fh inst., at 10 o'clock sharp, with all plans and specifications, and will go right through to show works. After that date specifications and plans for Nos. 1 to 5 will be left at Mofiat's Hotel, Waihou, and for Nos. 6 to 10 at Buck's Hotel, Morrinsville ; meantime, they will bo on view at my office, Hamilton. Putting in a set of 2 feet pipes, ' 40 feet long, cement joints, conciete facing, on the Piako main, road near the Eureka gate, and earth filling over same. The 'successful tenderer will bo sequired to find two approved sureties of £250 each for the due fulfilment of the. contract.
