Tt^A IKATO COUNTY. To Ratepayers Kirikiriroa. PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given in terms of section 12, "Roads and Bridges Construction Act, 1882," that the Waikato County Council have made an application to the Government for a loan of £3000 for the purpose of rebuilding bridges, grading cuttings, and gravelling the main road from Taupiri to the confiscated boundary line. Plans and particulars of the works may be inspected during business hours at the oftice of Mr T. G. Sandes, Civil Engineer, Hamilton. The yearly payment (ten) to be made to the Government will be seventy-five pounds (£75), and the special rate required to be made and levied to meet them will be one-sixteenth of a penny. To decide whether the County Cor ncil shall borrow £3000 for main road -works, and levy a special rate as above mentioned a POLL of the ratepayers will be taken at the Waikato Couuty Council Office on Friday, the Gth day of April next, commencing at 9 a.m., and closing at 4 p.m. J. Ratepayers of the above district are hereby notified in terms of Section 12, lloads and Biidges Construction Act, 1882, that the Waikato County Council have applied to the Government for a loan of £4000 for the purpose of rebuilding bridges and culverts, and grading the road throughout between Whangamarino and Tau phi, and fiom Rangiriri to Churchill. The amount of yearly payments (ten) to be made to the Government will be £100, and the special rate requiied to meet them will be one-third of a penny in the £ on the rateable value of the distiict per annum.
