[Received Feb. 20, 12 50 p.m.] Mklbourn'K, Yesterday. It is announced that the balance of the Victorian four million loau will be placed on the London market to-day. Tenders will 'be opened on the 6th March. The Age to-day published a paragraph that another robbery had been committed by a clerk in the Colonial Bank of Australia. ' An exchange of pulpits took place yesterday between ,Canon, Bromby, of St. Paul's, Melbourne, arid the Rev. Charles Strong, of the Scots Church. Mr James Grant, at present Colonial Secretary in the O'Loghlen Govei nment, is announced as a candidate for the Sptiakership^iujthe new Parliament. j Sydxjjy, Monday. A successful trial has been made of the pumps which have been fitted for raising j the Austral. She now lies on an even keel, and it is expected she will be floated in a day or two.
