NOTICE is hoieby given that William Philip Chepmcll, John Turnbull, aud Reuben Parr were this 17th day of February, 18S3, duly nominated as members of the Waitoa Licensing Committee. I hereby declare the said Messrs Chepmell, Turnbull, and Parr to be duly elected members of the said Waitoa Licensing Committee, and as an extraordinary vacancy has taken place in consequence of there being only three members appointed instead of five, I hereby give public notice that an election will be held in the School-house, Morrinsville, on Saturday, the 10th day of March, 1883, for the return of two duly qualified persons to be members of the said Waitoa Licensing Committee. PUBLIC NOTIFICATION. In terms of Section 53 of The Roads and Bridges Construction Act, ISS2, a SPECIAL MEETING of the CAMBRIDGE ROAD BOARD will be held at Bioad Meadows on TUESDAY, the 27th inbt., at 3 o'clock p.m., for the purpose of making a Special Rate oi one-eighth of a penny in the pound sterling on all rateable property within the district, to meet charges payable to the Colonial Treasurer on a sum of £1000 granted to the district for the constmction of district roads.
