The trial of Mrs Hamilton and Thomas Priestly for the murder of Hugh Hamilton was concluded at tlie Supreme Court, Auckland, on Thursday. The evidence was almost identical with that taken at the preliminary examination, Mr Justice Gillies summed up strongly in favour of the prisoners, and the jury, after an absence of forty minutes, brought in a verdict of " Not G-uilty."
