R.M. COURT, TE AWAMUTU.
Thuksday.— (liefore Mr North croft, R.M.) Tlie case of Uarai.i v. C. Walker, for unlawfully impounding a hoi fee, came on for hearing on Thursday afternoon.— Mr F. A. Whitaker appeared for the defendant, and Mr W. M. Jlay for plaintiff. A great deal of interest in the case was manifested.— Mr U. Walker was examined, when an adjournment took place until yestenlay mouung (Ftiday), but little pi ogress was made, and a further adjournment took place until Monday next, at 10 a.m. Tins is one of the cases arising out of the forcible entry (so called) on to the l'ukekuia and Puahoe Blocks, and on the decision depends several other actions. Dunn (. Alexander. — Another impounding case, resulted in a non-suit. — (Own Correspondent, Jan. 18th.)
