CAMBRIDGE TOWN BOARD.

Thk usual monthly meeting of the above body was held at the tow n board office, Cambridge, oii Monday opening last, at the usual hour. Present: Cis. Wells (chairman), E. Hewitt, J.is. Johnson and Nixon. The ihihutesi of the previous meeting were confiuncd, and the inward and outward correspondence were disposed of. HoKhK Po.vr.s. — Ifessis Lewis and Simpson wrote a-sking permission to erect a, number of posts in trout of their premises to tie hoises to. On the motion ot O. Hewitt, permission was granted conditionally that the posts be erected on a line with the kerbing boaul. .Stkkkt Cr.KAiiiNo. — An application was received fiom a mimberof intepaycis asking the board to clear Clare-street from Hall-street to Vogel-street, the same being in anything but passable condition. — On the ivotion of Cr.
