A Reuter'i telegram, received on Thursday evening conveys the same' intelligence, as under — "It is announced^ tha£ a' loan, p £1,000,000 at 4 per ceiit. for the Govern ment of New Zealand will be placed 01 the market. 6n 'the 1 ilth ihstj ' * The mini mum is fixed at 98^." It is gratifying in know that the Bank of England hai -taken the matter in hand.
