The committee of ladies and gentlemen weie as follows, viz :— Mesdames Aubiu, Allen, the Misses Allen (3), Seecombe, Gascoyne, Higginson, Stunner, and Miss S. Finch, assisted by Rev. Mr Phillips, Capt. Giiscoigne, riwaine, Halls, and Mi Chappell. I am sorry to have been informed that our local Amateur Dramatic Club is likely to be dissolved through , the retirement of some of its members. At their last entertainment hcte in aid of the hall fund, the sum of eight pounds was received from the club, clear of all expenses ; the previous performance also gave over six pounds. As the' club have money in hand and, are clei^r of all liabilu ties, it is to be hoped the idea of dissolution will be reconsidered. —(Own Correspondent, Jan. 3.) ' •
