Auckland, Last Night. ' Sale of Blood Stock. At Mr Buckland's sale to-day, r the brown yearling colt by Musket-Una was bought bv Mr, Joseph Bennett for 7ogs., and the bay yearling colt by Musket-Queen Mab> was knocked down to the same gentleman, also for 7.">gs. The thoroughbred ' Rewi was purchased by Mr Mason for b'Ogs. Parewhenua and Maoriland were also put up, but the offers 'did not come near 1 thd' reserve placed, and- they wem , passed in. • f f

Divorce Case. In the Supreme .Court ,< to-day, in Chambers, in the matter of Montrose v. Montrose and W. Bader, an application in which the petitioner seeks to be divorced from his wife on the ground 'of her adultry, counsel for applicant {moved for directions as to the mode', time and! place of trial. There was no appearance on the part of either, respondent or corespondent. His Honor pointed out that' tihecase could not be iakeri before the 12th March, as the law vacation commences on the 2^th inst., and he therefore, fixed it for the ensuing civil sittings, He further, said that there was no ' need for a jury, as no \ issues had been \ raided.
