A 2)os( mortem examination of the bodies of Hamilton and child was commenced at , the Morgue, this afternoon, Dr Goldsbqro' made an autopsy, there being also present Dra Walker and' Pixon. Superintendent Thompson, Detective Strathearn, and Walker, the undertaker who interred the bodies. The body of Hamilton was first operated on, and the corpse was in an advanced state of decomposition, even more so than might have been anticipated after 20 days interment. It is reported that preliminary stages of autopsy disclosed facts that have not even been suspected, though their nature is not disclosed. , The pott mortem was concluded at 4.30 this afternoou. All that transpired is that the child was not poisoned, and died a natural death. Immediately after the examination the bodies were re-coffined aud placed in a cart, and conveyed to the cemetery under the charge of Detective Strathern and interred. Fresh external wounds, beyond those described at the inquest, have been discovered on Hamilton's body. The corpse was too much decomposed to show with any certainty traces of flesh wounds.
