WELLINGTON, Last Night. The period pledged on behalf of the colony that New Zealand would not again enter the London market, three years, has expired, and it is understood that powers for raising the first million of the loan authorised last session has been transmitted to the loan agent in London.
HAWERA, Last Night. The Auckland and Hawera cricket match commenced at 11.30, but the bowling of the two Baylys is much too good for the visitors, Auckland's first innihgs having closed for 19, of which Boden niado 12.
Later. In the cricket match, Auckland second eleven v. Hawera, played to-day, Hawera won by one innings and 33 runs. , The scores were, Auckland, Ist innings 19, second IS, Hawera, first inningb 70.
