The tendencies of the new Ministry aie decidedly Anglophile. London, December 1. A bulletin has been issued stating that Mr Fawcetit, the' J.'ostmaster-.General, lis 1 sutfering from a severe attatlc of diphtheria. 'In the House of' Commons to-day, ' Sir Charles Dilke, Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs, in reply to a question, stated that the Egyptian Government had asked that the British., commander, and British officers .raight be appointed to the new Egyptian' army. Latest reports announce that Dr. Tait is now expiring. All hope of his recovery has been abandoned.
