A fire early this morning destroyed the old wooden buildings 1 in Stafford-street; Cobbs stables and the adjoining premises used by Messrs Harcou and Co. for bottling purposes. The fire is supposed to be .accidental. -The insurances uscertdiriable are £400 in tfie Scottish Imperial and South British, £I,^o m the Phuenix, £200 Association, £250 in the United, £300 in the London and' Lancashire, £150 in 4he Norwich, £100 in the Mhibii: - ' The Union ,Ste^mslup Company have received a cablegtam, irtforniing ithein of ■ the launch of theMVaihola dt iG-lasgow. She sails on January 13th.
