•Sir, — At a special meeting of the Cambridge West School Committee, held on Saturday last, the following resolution was .passed : — "That ,Miss Allens explanatory letter be accepted, and that the stateifitint' published in a letter by the committee, in your issue of the ISth inst., that all action taken by the committee was with her full knowledge and consent, be expunged."
