NGARUA WAHIA AND HAMILTON ROAD.
A GENTLEMAN ridiug towards Ngaruawahia on Friday, had a narrow escape frohi a severe accident. He was cantering slowly along the track by the telegraph line at the new lacecourse, and not noticing that the wire fencing crossed the track, his horse struck against the fence, and both were thrown into one of the pits for which this new road is famous. Fortunately, the rider escaped uninjured, but the horse was slightly cut by the wire. This is warning No 2. — (A Correspondent. )
