Sydnky, Thursday. Paimjambxt was dissolved to-day, and writs have been issued for a general election, which will be concluded before the close of the year. The nominations for the Sydney constituency will be made on the 2Sth mst.
Mkujourxk, Thursday. Messrs Goldsbrough and Co., Limited, report that at their wool sale yesterday 0000 bales were catalogued, and 4100 sold. The prices realised were satisfactory. The highest figure for greasy wool was 15{d, and for scoured 11 \d C-sic.J Pining the past >yeek the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company have catalogued 2230 bales at their wool sales, of which 1900 were sold at prices which -were considered satisfactory. There was a good attendance of buyers, and a brisk competition was experienced. Oood qualities fetched about the same as at the last sales. Coarse and inferior cross-breds were in sympathy with the London market, anil were a shade weaker. The London Redemption Bill was finally passed by the Legislative Assembly last night.
