AsMEETiNG of the ladies connected with fche^Roman Catholic bazaar was . h,eld on the 2lstinBt., in the Presbytery, Hamilton East. , It was finally arranged to hold the same in the Volunteer Hall, Hamilton West, on the 21st, 22nd, and 23rd December. The Rev. Father O'Gara, who presided, informed the ladies that His Lordship the Right Rev. Dr. Luck. 0.5.8., would formerly open the bazaar. | His Lordship is expected here, on or about the third Sunday in Advent. As this will be the first visit of Bishop Luck to Hamilton it is expected that the Catholics will muster in good numbers on that day. The stalls have been arranged as follows :— No. 1., the Misses Cusspn and Chitty ;No. 11., Mrs Cussen j No. 111. Mrs Gelling and Mrs McGovern; No. IV. refreshment stall under the supervision of Mrs Connolly. Miss Carey has kindly offered to take charge of a flower stall, which will be attached to that of Mrs Gelling. A post-office in connection with the bazaar will be under the care of the ladies superintending stall No. 11. The price ot admission will bo for adults Is, and children half-price. The | Mayor has kindly consented to let the ladies have the key of the hall as soon after the 3rd Sunday of Advent as they wish, and at the same time has also offered every assistance in his power. The Rev. Father O'Gara takes this opportunity of asking all persons concerned to send to the Presbytery, Hamilton East, as soon as possible, the articles they have promised him for the bazaar, in order that they may be distributed amongst the various stalls. The same Rev. Father is daily expecting a chest of articles from England, brought out expressly for the bazaar by Bishop Luck.
