RA IL WA Y MISMANAGEMENT. A Hard Case. [BY TELEGRAPH. — SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT.]
Auckland, Last Night. The excursionists who arrived here by the special train due here on Monday night at 10.45., but which did not reach the platform until 1.40., are somewhat sore about ths treatment they received at the hands of the railway authorities. Owing to the unexpected lateness of the hour at which the train arrived, the majority had to wander about the streets until morning. Among the unfortunates vtere some ladies. The passengers consider the delay a piece of gross mismanagement on the part of the railway authorities. A deputation waits on the Premier to-morrow to lay the matter before him, and also to draw his attention to other matters of a like character in connection with the railway.
