At the meeting of the l'iako County Council held on Friday last at Cainbiidge, the above matter was again biought before the council. — Mr James Stewart, engineer, wrote informing the council that tenders would be called at once for the formation of the proposed line, &nch tenders to close on or about the 20th November. — The cleric was instructed to write to Mr Stewart requesting him to attend the next meeting ot the council to beheld on the 22nd piox., and to bring with him all tenders received for the work. The tramway committee Mere also authorised to purchase the wire rope requii ed for the tramway.
