Stavliiy is rising tlucc years old, by Lord Derby, out of Blossom ; Blossom by Matchless, out of Blossom, who was by Cumberland, thus possessing a combination of the best and staunchest blood in the colony. He is an immensely powerful colt, with lots of bone and hair of the finest quality ; is a grand worker and perfectly quiet. He won first prize as a yearling, and first as a two-year-old at the Auckland Shows 1880 and 1881. All mares pioxiug not in foal to be served free of charge next season.
