Stanley is rising thice yeais old, by Lord Derby, out of Blossom ; Blossom by Matchless, out of Blossom, who was by Cumberland, thus possessing a combination of the best and staunchest blood in the colony. He is an immensely powerful colt, with lots of bone and hair of tho finest quality ; is a grand worker and perfectly quiet. He won tirst prize as a yearling, and first as a two-year-old at the Auckland Shows 1880 and 18S1. All mares piwing not in foal to be served free of charge ne\t season.
