NATIVE LANDS COURT, CAMBRIDGE.
Tuesday. — (Before His Honor Chief Judge Fenton and His Honor Judge Williams.) The Court was occupied during the morning hearing the remainder of the evidence in the Matanuku block, and before evening fill the witnesses had been got through. Judgment was given in favour of the Ngati Ngarongo. Tamakitua and descendants, and Wra, Tv Poura were admitted into possession on account of their long residence on the l.md. The claim of Te JEtai Paulina, of Ngati Kauhoro, was tlirown out on account of claimant's ancestors not having resided on the land until lately. No decision has been given as yet in respect to the other claimants, Ngati Waita and Ngati Hinimata. The Waotu block, No. 22, is expected to come befon* the, Court next.
