TE AROHA TRAMWAY.
The carrying out; of this important work is now steadily being proceeded with. At At the meeting of the Piako County Council, held on Friday last, O. H.E. Whitaker gave a brief verb.il report of the progress which was being made ; and narrated the engineering difficulties which had to be overcome in the preliminary stage of the scheme ; and which had been successfully disposed of. The council voted a further imprest supply to the engineer, Mr Stewart.
