OPENING of the LAND COURT AT CAMBRIDGE.

Thk long expected Land Court opened at Cambridge on Thursday morning at 10 o'clock, before His Honor Judge Fenton, and the Court throughout the day was well filled with natives. The Court was occupied hearing succession claims, but as few of these had beeu properly prepared, very little business was done.

(liV TELKGRAPH.) Cambridge, Last Night. At the Land Court to-day several unimportant succession claims were heard. Mr Whitakcr appeared for the claimants. Several passed ami several were adjourned. As the Court has been adjourned at Rotorua, a large number of natives are expected here shortly.
