Received September 20th, 12.15 p.m. Occupation ot Aboukir by British Troops—Refusal of Arabi's own Regiment to Surrender. London, September 19, 7.8 a.m. Aboukir has been occupied by the British troops. Arabi's own regiment has refused to surrender .and has inarched to Damietta, where Abdalla still maintains a defiant attitude, which it is expected is secretly instignated by the Porte. Arabi, while at Kafradowar, was, it is stated, in constant dread of being poisoned. The natives are now freely journeying through the country commanded by our troops, and thorough confidence seems to be restored.
Aboukir in the Hands of the British. Alexandria, September 19. A portion of the rebel garrison has left Aboulrir, and has reinforced the black troops at Damietta under Abdalia Pasha, who still refuses to surrender. The remainder of the Aboukir troops have, however, submitted to the British.
