PROROGATION OF PARLIAMENT. [BY TELEGRAPH. — PRESS ASSOCIATION.]
Wellington, Last Night. The House met at 3 p.m. The Speaker announced that he had waited upon the Government with two Appropriation Acts, which had been assented to. At 3.30 the House was summoned to attend the Council for prorogation. The Council met at 3 p.m. After the usual formal business, at 3.30 the Commission, viz.: Sir Win. Fitzherbert, the Hon. F. Whitaker and Sir G. Whitmore, took their seats, and, the commission being read, they adjourned Parliament until Thursday, December 14.
