James Prendergast, ' Administrator of the Government. a proclamation: , .Whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken under "The Public Works Act, 1876," and' "The Public Works Act, 1876, Amendment Act, 1878," for a certain work, to wit, the , construction of roads in the Mangapiko Highway District, Provincial District of Auckland : And whereas the Mangapiko Highway District Board has laid before the Governor' the memorial and map mentioned in and signed and certified as required by ths said Acts : Now, therefore, I, James Prendergast, the Administrator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by sections twenty-one, twenty-two, twenty-three, twenty-four, and twenty-five of "'The Public Works Act, 1876," and by section twenty-eight of "The Public Works Act, 1876, Amendment Act, 187 Si" and of any other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of roids ; and that, from and after the third day, of August, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-two, the land so described shall become absolutely vested in fee-simple in Her Majesty, discharged from all mortgages, charges, claims, estates, and inuerests of what kind soever, for use as roads. SCHEDULE. Ai-l that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 26 perches, more or less, situated in the Parish of Ngaroto, in the Mangapiko Highway District, and being portion of Allotment No. 141 ; commencing at the north-western angle of Allotment No. 141. Bounded toward* the North by a road-line, 649 links ; towards the South-east by other portions of Allotment No. 141, 372 links and 381 links ; and towards the West by a line, 367 links. All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods 2 perches, more or^less, situated in the Parish of Ngaroto, in the Mangapiko Highway District, and being portion of Allotment No. 95 ; commencing at the north-eastern angle of Allotment No. 95. Bounded towards the East by Allotment No. 141, 367 links ; towards the South-east by other portion of Allotment No. 95, 143 links ; towards the South-west by other portion of Allotment No. 95 aforesaid, 401 and 399 links; and towards the North by a road-line, 810 links. All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 1 rood 9 perches, more or less, situated in the Parish of Manapiko, in the Mangapiko Highway District, and being the eastern portion of Allotment No. 312 ; commencing at the north-eastern angle of Allotment No. 312. Bounded towards the East by a line, 3470 lini s ; towards the West by other portion of Allotment No. 312, 3903 links ; and towards the North-east by lines, 320 and 148 links. All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand, containing by admeasurement 4 acres two roods 35 perches, more or less, situated in the Parish of Mangapiko, in the Mangapiko Highway District, and being portions of Allotments Nos. 89 and 91 ; commencing on the eastern boundary of Allotment 91 at a point 836 links distant from the northeastern angle of that lot. Bounded towards the East and Southeast by a roadline 103 links, and by lines 836, 1003, 1610, 640, and 507 links ; towards the South by a road-line, 114 links ; and towards the West and North-west by Allotments Nos. 89 and 91, 535, 716, 1681, 1008, and 898 links : be all the aforesaid linkages more or less ; and the same being more particularly delineated on the map attached to the memorial above refeired to. Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir James Prendergast, Knight, Chief Justice, the Administrator of the Government of Her Majesty's Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies ; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House at Wellington, this thirty first day of July, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-two.
