NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Trustees of the above district to meet in the office of the Board on Saturday, 26th August, 1882, at 7 p.m., for the purpose of STRIKING A RATE of Ninepeuce (9d) in the £ on all rateable property in the district, for the period from Ist April, 1882, and ending 31st March, 1883; and that the said Rate is made due and payable in one instalment on the 14th September, 1882, to the Collector (Mr H. MANGAPIKO HIGHWAY DISTRICT. Meeting of Ratepayers. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting of the ratepayers of the above district will be held at the old Schoolhouse, Paterangi, on Saturday, August 26th, 1882, at 1 o'clock p,m. for the purpose of electing one trustee to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Mr F. TAKE NOTICE. — The Waikato County Council intend to CLOSE the ROAD undermentioned j plans and description of which may be inspected at the residence of Mr William Birss, Parish of Taupiri, for twelve weeks from this date.

Road to be Closed. That piece of the old Great South Road, 1909 links in length, containing 1 acre, 3 roods and 25 perches, more or less, situated in the Parish of Taupiri, Provincial District of Auckland, running through part of section 47 and section 48, the property of Mr William Birss. Notice is hereby given that the Rangiaohia Highway District Board propose to STOP the undermentioned ROAD in the Parish of Mangapiko. A road containing 2 acres, 3 roods, 32 perches, bounded north-westerly by allotment No. 48, and south-easterly by allotment No. 46, both the property of John Cundy, and situated in the Parish of Mangapiko.
