INVERCARGILL, Last Night.
The local Bible-in-School3 Association are circulating a petition for presentation to Parliament, praying that the bible be re-introduced into the public schools. It is pointed out that the result of the polls in the district show an overwhelming majority of people in favour of the step, and if the House is not satisfied, it is •uggestecl,that uphbiseite be taken.
