Londox, July 17. The Australian cricketing learn commenced a match to-day agabist an eleven of Yorkshire at Bradford. There was a very large attendance. The weather was fine, but the wicket was heavy owing to the recent rain. The visitors went in first and were all disposed of for 132. Bannerman was the highest scorer with 42, caught. The home team went in for their first innings, and had put together 25 runs for the loss of 5 wickets when the stumps were drawn for the day. The bowling of the Australians was dead on the wicket, and the Englishmen conld not take liberties with it.
