BALCLUTHA, Last Night.
The river is in high flood, in many places overflowing the banks. The lower reserves and adjacent flats are almost wholly covered. The old post-office, and the borough chambers arc surrounded by water, which is running along the street. No water is in the houses as yet. The river ia still rising slowly.
