The letter of " Fanner" in your Saturday's issue has already been favorably commented upon here, not because he happened to mention this as <i suitable place for the basis of operations, but because lie offers to support his proposed movement in a substantial way, thereby shewing his sincerity in the cause he advocates. The Fellmoiigery Company haA'e commenced operations on the site selected, under the supervision of their chairman. Mr W. A. Graham paid us a visit recently, wir,h the object it is said, of carrying out the intentions of the Farmer's Co-operative Association in respect to fostering aad encouraging the growth of wheat. It is sincerely to be hoped that Mr Giaham's exertions will be crowned with success. — (Own Correspondent, June 19.)
