LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL.
Tuesday. The West Coast Peace Preservation and Indemnity Bill were read a first time. The Premier stated that the Governor would probably avail himself shoifcly of a six months' leave of absence granted by the Queen. Several bills were passed through committee.
